We are pleased to announce the ASEAN-UK GTF (Green Transition Fund) programme has launched a new funding opportunity within the Climate Policy, Green Finance, and Clean and Just Energy Transition pillars.
The ASEAN-UK GTF is seeking proposals for projects that will support ASEAN’s climate action in three sectors, through technical assistance and capacity-building projects. The deadline for submitting proposals is 19 February 2025, 18:00 ICT/ 11:00 UTC.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for projects that align with the commitments and priorities made by AMS (ASEAN Member States), Timor-Leste via ASEAN and as manifested in ASEAN strategic documents.
The first pillar, Climate Policy, aims to boost ASEAN and AMS institutional capacity to implement their climate action plan in ASEAN and in AMS's NDC, in line with the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community Blueprint 2025.
The second pillar, Green Finance, seeks to strengthen the enabling environment for accelerated green finance flows towards climate action, supporting the ASEAN Economic Community Blueprint 2025.
The third pillar, Clean and Just Energy Transition, focuses on accelerating the energy transition in ASEAN. This includes developing a concrete plan to support pilot implementation, in line with both the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community Blueprint 2025 and the ASEAN Economic Community Blueprint 2025.
